I am having problems with Verity on MX7. We have two new
servers here. One for development and one for production. I was
able to create a bunch of collections (40 or so) and now all of a
sudden when I try to create any more, I am getting the following
error:
Unable to create collection wdclibrary.
Unable to create collection wdclibrary.
An error occurred while creating the collection: com.verity.api.administration.ConfigurationException: Fail to create the index. (-6220)
In the past I only used Verity on our production server but after getting this error I thought I would give it a try on development but development doesn't appear to be working at all. All services are running on both but on development I get the following:
Unable to retrieve collections from the Search Service.
Please verify that the ColdFusion MX Search Server is installed and running.
Would there be some kind of conflict between the two that would be causing these problems? We do not have Verity running on a seperate machine (equipment not available) I really need to get at least the production server running right. Any suggestions would be really appreciated. Thanks
