Application server service error

I setup a school’s ColdFusion server Monday this week and all the workstations and server had been working when I left.

This morning nothing was working and the messages in the event viewer are shown below.
O/S Windows 2000 on the server and workstations.

The ColdFusion 8 Application Server service could not be started within 240 seconds. Increase the server startup timeout value using
C:\ColdFusion\runtime\bin\jrunsvc.exe -starttimeout<seconds>

We tried > Start > Run [ C:\ColdFusion\runtime\bin\jrunsvc.exe -starttimeout <360> ]
And the problem persists.

=== Error Two ===
Could not start the Coldfusion 8 Application server service on local computer.

=== Error Three ===
Error: 1053
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion

When we previously had a similar problem with Coldfusion MX server, an adjustment to the registry was made.
Hkey_Local_Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\W3svc
IISadmin
ColdFusion Mx Application Server

Can we do something similar for this problem?
